Event Description:
Thriving Families: Helping Professionals and Families Learning, Listening and Getting Stronger Together

The Thriving Families Conference is an all-day conference featuring national experts on healing trauma, mental illness, and addiction. It is an opportunity for Hancock County families and local helping professionals to listen, learn, and get stronger together.

The target audience is helping professionals. This includes but is not limited to social services, education, health care, social work, counseling, and ministry. Social work and counseling CEUs are available.

Thriving Families is sponsored by the Family Resource Center System of Care (SOC) grant and is co-sponsored by the Findlay-Hancock County Center for Civic Engagement and the Hancock County ADAMHS Board.

The fee is $40 for professionals who pre-register and $50 the day of the event. Lunch and door prizes will be provided. If your employer requires a “bill me” option for your attendance, please contact Julie Brown, SOC Project Director, at brownj@frcohio.com.

Family and community members are also invited to attend. Scholarships are available for local families to attend at no cost.
